Steps to register for IRCTC e-wallet online

Step 1: Go to the official website of IRCTC

1. First, go to the official website of IRCTC at irctc.co.in.
2. Next, click on the ‘Login’ option at the top of the page.
3. Next, enter your user ID and password.
4. Next, enter the captcha code and click on the ‘Sign In’ button.

Step 2: Open the ‘IRCTC e-wallet’ page

1. Next, click on the “IRCTC EXCLUSIVE” option on the top menu.
2. Next, click on the “IRCTC eWallet” option.
3. Next, click on the “IRCTC eWallet Register Now” option.
4. A new page will open.

Step 3: Complete KYC

1. You will get two options to complete your KYC, Aadhar or Pan Card. Choose the one you want.
2. Next, enter your ‘name’ in the specified field.
3. Next, enter the ‘Aadhar/Pan Card number’ in the specified field.
4. Next, tick the declaration box and click on the “Send OTP” option.
5. An OTP will be sent to your registered number.
6. Next, enter the OTP received in the specified field and click on the “Update” button. 
7. Next, click on the “Update KYC” button.

The KYC will be done successfully.

Step 4: Set transaction password

1. Now, log in again and click on the “IRCTC EXCLUSIVE” option on the top menu.
2. Next, click on the “IRCTC eWallet” option.
3. Next, click on the “IRCTC eWallet Register Now/Reactivate” option. A new page will open.
4. Next, set your “Transaction Password” in the specified field. 
5. Next, re-enter your transaction password in the “Confirm Transaction Password” field.

Step 5: Complete e-wallet registration

1. Next, click on the “Submit” button.
2. A popup will appear on the screen showing the successful creation of the eWallet account. 
3. Next, click on the “OK” button.

Your IRCTC eWallet registration process will be successfully completed. You can also complete the process through the IRCTC mobile app in the same way.
